Sunset is the time when lovers are happy to become part of the darkness;
dawn is the time of early morning when the sun creeps into the room and
lovers reluctantly part from each other. Tonight we are going to hear dawn
songs from England, France and Germany written by some of the world’s best
poets and musicians. Highlight of the evening is the life performance of
Elizabethan songs (Dowland, Pilkington, Rosseter) and songs from the
English and German Romantic Age (Quilter, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms,
Strauss).
